  • Please, open this vnc-file as text and check parameter "host" and "port".
    Host and port can be written in the following ways:

    1.
    host=HOSTNAME:PORT
    Port is from range 100...65535. If port number is less 100, than added 5900.

    2.
    host=HOSTNAME::PORT
    Port is any.

    3.
    host=HOSTNAME
    port=PORT
    Port is from range 100..65535. If port number is less 100, than added 5900.

    Behavior #3 is not correct and may be changed in future version.

    Да. 3й вариант в тексте.
    Если я этот файл открываю старой версией просмотрщика (младше 2.5.*) - всё ровно...

    Удалил в тесте строку port=PORT и сделал как в варианте №2.
    Пересохранил. Открыл новым просмотрщиком - работает!

  • It bug (behavior #3) must be fixed in future version, very likely 2.7.

    @knst-tightvnc

    I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. Are you saying that behavior #3 is not valid? If so, then why does TightVNC save the file in this exact format when you save a session?
