Hi Luca, well ... in my opinion, an improvement to the script would to apply another vtkCleanPolyData after capping: the resulting mesh has redundant nodes. Furthermore, the normals on the caps in the resulting mesh are inward and I think they should respect those in the input mesh. So, uniforming output mesh normals could be another improvement to the script.
