I have VMPK 0.6.0 running on Windows 8.1 x64. I have the output routed to the Coolsoft Synthesizer so I can hear notes when I press on the virtual keyboard. I have enabled MIDI Inputs and selected my LPK25 keyboard, but I don't get any sounds. I have tried using MIDI-OX and I can get events from the LPK25 routed to the synthesizer. Also, I had this same setup working on Windows 7 - so I'm a bit stymied why it doesn't work now. Any suggestions?

I've not tested VMPK in Windows 8.1, but if it works in Windows 7 and not in windows 8 this means that there is a problem with the MIDI drivers or Windows 8.1 MIDI subsistem.

I removed VMPK 0.6.0 and went back to 0.5.1 - that works fine on both Win 7 (32 bit) and Win 8.1 (64 bit). So, I suspect an issue with 0.6.0.
