Thanks for this bug report. I find the following: On Windows, label(text='ab&cd') underlines the c, and never shows &. On Mac, displays ok but each getkey() puts TWO events in the queue. Okay on Ubuntu. So there are two bugs, no & on Windows and double events with getkey.
