The new Java TurboVNC Viewer app for Mac provides actual OS X menus that allow access to the typical TurboVNC features without the need to pop up the F8 menu. Unfortunately, the accelerator keystrokes used to access these menu items (such as Command-F to enter/leave full screen, for instance) are, for some reason, being transmitted to the VNC server. Instead, these keystrokes need to be swallowed by the viewer and not transmitted. It's certainly possible to explicitly ignore them in the KeyListener, but that creates potential for mistakes to be made down the road. What I'm really looking for is a more general way to ignore all accelerator keystrokes associated with the Mac menus.
