Yes, this should work. Note, however, that because most operations in ViennaCL are memory-bandwidth limited, you will hardly see any scaling above 1.5-2x...

i enabled openmp while installing viennacl in *
ViennaCLcommon.cmake file

Although this should work, I recommend doing that via CMake directly rather than editing the file.
CMake (command line):
 $/path/to/ViennaCL/build/> cmake .. -DENABLE_OPENMP=On
CMake-Gui:
 Activate 'ENABLE_OPENMP', then click on 'Configure' twice, then on 'Generate'.
