is there any interest in a modification of VideoDB so that it can
handle movies with more than one director? Right now, VideoDB only
fetches and displays the first director.
I'm in the process of "converting" my old MS Access Video Collection
Database to VideoDB and noticed that there are quite a lot of movies
that match this criteria. Example: IMDb-ID 0077427.
Basically, the information on the directors could be handled like the
actors are handled right now (text, not varchar(255)) etc. The full
information on directors is on the "fullcredits" page which is
already being fetched for cast information. So there wouldn't be any
extra bandwidth required.
Cheers, Ray (cineast :-)

Apparently there wasn't any interest, that's why I implemented it ;-)
The changes contain support for multiple directors and two new
fields: writers and cinematographers.
These changes are pretty big and temper the database format, so I
don't expect them to be applied. I've attached a diff against
current CVS just in case anyone is interested.
Since I'm probably the only one, who will use this, I only did German
and English translations and support for the "lila" default theme :-)
