VideoDB would retrieve a lot of data- especially as it needs the movie description for the list view. For performance reasons this is all retrieved in one statement. You could try enabling pagination and see if that helps.

128M, which apparently is the default since a few PHP versions. But I
guess that's not so nice if you have only 384M for everything, so
perhaps it's better if you try with a bit smaller numbers than 128M.
