I use VICE for playing around with GEOS.
The problem with GEOS is that everytime after booting you need to set the clock.
It would be nice if the clock would be synchronized with the PC clock.
I can think of two ways to achieve this:
1. Sometime after booting GEOS use some VICE command to update the 6 RAM locations with the PC date and time.
These are $8516 tot $851B for year, month, day, hour, minutes and seconds.
2. Emulate the CMD SmartMouse. This mouse is 100 % compatible with the Commodore 1351 but has an extra feature: a battery backed up real time clock. It was especially designed for GEOS.
The attachments contain the manual and the original CMD Utlity Disk.
The manual is not complete.
You will notice that a trackball is mentioned.
This is the CMD SmartTrack and it is completely compatible with the SmartMouse.
It seems I can only attach one file.
