#13 Setup for remote checkout

There should really be a document describing in one
place all the setup necessary to enable remote
checkout, as there are several different pieces.

In addition to the basic requirements, it would be nice
if such a document included notes on:

- Which hosts need to be able to make connections to
which ports on which hosts (for configuring firewalls)

- What needs to be done when a repository changes its
hostname (fixing the master-repository attributes)

- How to support remote checkout to client repositories
with no fixed hostname (e.g. laptop installations)

- Hostname resolution (for VPN configurations, like
what we use for dev.vestasys.org)
