Souliss is a Distributed Home Automation Framework that may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), gates, appliances, and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security. Souliss is made of 3 libraries:

- Souliss
- MaCaco
- vNet

Souliss is the core collection of typicals logics for Home Automation, it supports networking with other devices in the home network via MaCaco and vNet.

MaCaco is a communication protocol that works over vNet. It allow polling, pushing and
subscribing methods to retrive data from other network devices.

vNet is a virtualized network, it support multiple communication media and provide
automatically bridge and routing support.
