OS: Windows 7 Integrated
Version: 0.5.0 SVN (updated within last week)
1: All screenshots are 1-pixel-high, 512-pixel-wide white rectangles. As a result, I can't document any of the bugs reported here.
2: Thrusters refuse to do anything useful. That is, they pick a direction, seemingly at random, and pick from two choices in speed, "313" (my Maneuver top speed) or "infinite" (speed slowly builds over time, but in a way that breaks any acceleration records I may have had). Only Autopilot seems to have any control over speed or direction, though I may try +, -, \, and/or the backspace key, only successful in changing a meaningless top speed value.
3. "Docking" range indicator goes away at 50,000 meters and reappears at ~8,000 for some reason.

Just today, the thrust bugged out again; it does whatever it wants, but it mostly tries to stay around 700 and acts as if I have loads more inertia than I actually do. It acts in odd ways when I mess with the intended-speed setting, and refuses to let me stop entirely. Autopilot is able to control thrust as normal. Perhaps these glitches are a result of the "basic repair and refuel damages thrusters" bug?

It all sounds very weird and unheard. Can you confirm it in a clean install (of the game) on another computer?

    Meanwhile,

    1. Sounds unlikely. Can you upload a screenshot? (maybe you can't see it, but the file is ok).
    2. Sounds strange, but a bit like what happens when you have a joystick with a third axis and you try to configure it for thrust control. It overrides keyboard input and doesn't behave very well. Try setting "no joystick" in setup if you havent. Which brings me to your settings... please tell use what your settings are.

I've had the thrust bug happen before (ONCE), also on XP, but with version 0.4.3 or so. I've never used the joystick for thrust and I don't normally use it, but it *is* configured correctly (or so I think).

Also: What is it that you want me to take a screenshot of?

What I meant about the screenshots, is that it's very weird that they actually are that way, no matter what you see, no matter what you take a screenshot of, I'd like you to attach a file to see what's wrong with it.

Will do, if/when it comes up again. Like I said earlier, the "screenshot" itself is often just a 1-pixel high white rectangle.

If you CAN change set speed, (2) does not look like wrongly mapped throttle axis. More like velocity set relative to something entirely wrong, hence instant acceleration (told you guys!). If so, pressing "End" should stop this nonsense.
I'm going to write a patch to force VelocityRef on docking/undocking, anyway.
