You can find the log file in the directory specified with the TEMP environment variable.

Running 'vcxsrv -help' show you the available options (which are the same as for xming and xwin).

With the -logverbose options you can change the verbosity of the log messages.

I am using the following command line to a pc running debian and a colinux running also debian:
      vcxsrv -query namelinuxmachine -clipboard -ac

aroushdi: This worked for me to a Ubuntu virtual machine.  I did have to turn off the Windows firewall for it to work though.  You might be better off starting up VcXsrv in single window mode and using putty to ssh to the host with X forwarding on and then starting with 'gnome-session&' or whatever environment you use.  This way the connections are all initiated by Windows and no firewall issues can occur.  I have to do this on my work laptop due to group policy restrictions.

Do you have the same problem when you start without the -clipboard option?
I have seen exits before because of problems in the clipboard thread, but I am not able to reproduce.
Could you try with the debug version (vcxsrv_dbg.exe)? It has some extra logging.
