According to Microsoft's documentation on version info
fields, the "Copyright" field should contain the full
copyright information, such as "(c) 2003 by My Big
Company" - that is, it should contain the year and
company name.

Granted, this seems redundant. I had put only the date
in countless projects, and my common About form just
merged the App.Copyright with the App.Company to
display a full copyright - and this is apparently very
common practice.

However, now that I'm versioning my components
the "right" way, the documentation generated shows
the company name twice.

Perhaps a checkbox to allow the company name to be
merged in or not would be a good idea. Or, as I usally do
to myself - just change it completely, and force it to be
done the "right" way. I know it was a huge pain for me
to change all those projects, but theoretically it should
help me sleep better...
