Hello there! Have anyone had any success running the SuSE 8.0 installer inside UML? I start UML with the following command line: ./linux debug ubd1=swap ubd2=/dev/dvd initrd=small.gz mem=96M fakehd eth0=tuntap,,,10.1.0.2 con0=fd:0,fd:1 con=xterm small.gz contains the initrd image from the SuSE bootdisk. This is the output: error stat'ing /dev/pts/p0: No such file or directory tracing thread pid = 13513 Linux version 2.4.18-23um (xi@borg) (gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)) #3 Wed May 8 18:42:56 CEST 2002 On node 0 totalpages: 24576 zone(0): 0 pages. zone(1): 24576 pages. zone(2): 0 pages. Is this dangerous? -- Best regards Christian Laursen |
