Yes it does. What do you think the UML initrd switch is for?
This looks to me like a stupid, easily fixed bug.

i am using linux 2.4.17 and uml 2.4.17-10.
my gcc version is 2.95.3.
segvs my user mode linux, no messages appear
Is there a bug in linux 2.4.17 or uml 2.4.17-10?
Damien seems to have the same problem.
Even trying --help after the initrd switch segvs, so it seems to be a bug in
uml command line parsing.
BASH# ./linux initrd=initrd.gz --help
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
