I noticed that all programs from runit package (sysvinit replacement)
segfaults under 2.6.6 UML. They work without any problem under
UML 2.6.6 guest is vanilla with uml-patch from user-mode-linux.sf.net

Of course. I'm booting it with sysvinit now and tried to run some of
the runit programs by hand. All of them segfaults under 2.6.6 but
works fine under 2.4.24-26 even with LIDS enhanced UML.
These programs works fine under the same kernel on the host with

I'm not sure I understand what do you mean here? I cannot debug UML
nor programs under UML because I don't have time.
I installed daemontools under UML as a quick solution, so I can
continue to work. Just like to inform community that there is a
problem with some kind of software.
P.S. I tried with strace but didn't got anything useful.
