It appears that Red Hat doesn't include any support for bridging other
than shipping the bridge-utils package, so I've attached a couple of
scripts I just wrote to configure bridging. Drop them in /sbin.
Your interface configuration needs to be named br<n>, so for example
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-br0. Set it up just like you
would for a normal ethernet device, then add lines like this:
(The BROPTIONS line will make ifup-pre-local run "brctl stp br0
off", and so on.)
