host is running 2.6.7-bk9-skas3
uml instance is running 2.6.7
I can access most /proc entries but accessing /proc/mm or
/proc/sysrq-trigger causes this:
Kernel panic: Kernel mode fault at addr 0x0, ip 0x40122ff8
<6>SysRq : Show Regs
And the uml instance is zapped, unless I add these under the fake /proc
(with and without the honeypot.pl running)
The honeypot.pl is very useful, great stuff!
But I do not know how to hide the fact that the root fs is ubd:
/etc/fstab and /etc/mtab still have the real entries...
Also, is there any other way to hide 'dmesg' than issue a dmesg -c on
boot? (or making the buffer so small it becomes useless)
And obviously /var/log/*
Any easy way of hiding these?
Any other giveaways I should be aware of?
Has anyone tried to use an nfsroot with uml?
Last one, I couldn't find the patch or option to enable tty logging.
CONFIG_TTY_LOG is nowhere to be found...
PS: the bug I was having with cut&paste of data greater than 512bytes is
gone in 2.6.7!...
