I have everything running as I expect using a SuSE 8.0 filesystem under
UML and a SuSE 8.0 host.
The exception is using the "con=port:9000" feature.
The "linux" program tries to fork/exec "in.telnetd" on the host with an
argument using the -L option. SuSE version of in.telnetd does not accept
1. Which version of telnetd works?
2. would it be possible to parameterize the name of the path to the
telnet daemon so it could be changed at run time (reason: my host will
need two versions of in.telnetd - the SuSE one for real mode and
whatever for uml mode)
