This is rather a montonous patch. It almost entirely consists of networking
fixes and cleanups. I discovered a lot of crud in the backends involving
MACs which needed to go.
I also fixed a bug or two in the ethertap backend which were making bad
things worse when anything went wrong setting up the host. For more
ethertap fixes, get the upcoming utilities, which contain a further set of
ethertap fixes which make it work when possible and behave sanely when not.
I also removed ptrace_getfpxregs, which was making UML not build everywhere,
so it better damn well build now.
In other news, I've tested my claim that UML can now do dhcp and bootp
at boot time, and I was right. I tested it across the switch with dhcpd
running in another UML, and the booting UML picked up its interface information
fine with both dhcp and bootp.
