Hi Jeff, Here are my info: Host machine: Pentium III 800MHz + Redhat 7.0 + Linux 2.4.18 UML: linux 2.4.18 + uml-patch-2.4.18-13.bz2 File system: root_fs.rh-7.2-full.pristine.20020312.bz2 Steps - run UML: linux debug - install my module - pause GDB (Ctrl + C) - add symbol file - set break point - resume GDB - run a linux app to do ioctl call to my module - breakpoint hit and try to step through the code.
