Hi, My /usr/include/asm headers were in order then... Also, now I have another problem... whenever I start uml and try to login, I get the error "cannot allocate tty/pty pair" and can't proceed beyond that.. I tried recompiling uml in exactly the same way that I had earlier (apply 2.4.12-1-um on a vanilla 2.4.12 kernel and compile with the defaults) but it still gives me the same error...
