If I specify a file to be used as swap on the command line on startup, and specify that device to be used as swap in /etc/fstab on the host, but the file does not exist, then it seems to exist in some sort of weird never never land where it can be neither added or removed from the guest. For example: "uml_mconsole name_of_guest remove ubdb" returns "ERR Device doesn't exist" "uml_mconsole name_of_guest config ubdb" returns "OK swap" Very strange condition people might encounter if (like me) they are forgetful when setting up a guest in the first place. The problem can be solved of course by rebooting the guest, but it would be nice to hotswap the swap into the guest. Jonas |
