Hi Mike, Ah, so it is TLS on the host that's causing the problem, quite odd. The problem I have is that glibc 2.4 is "nptlonly" and so I just can't disable TLS... I'm really stuck. I guess I could try a chroot with glibc 2.3 and build static kernels in there, but IIRC when I tried this it didn't seem to solve the problem.
