Yes, this should work, possibly some further config is needed (dunno dhcpd syntax) but this is the idea. _HOWEVER_ you need explicit MAC addresses as otherwise all UMLs will end up with the same MAC: when the interface it's brought up the MAC is set as fe:fd:<the 4 IP bytes>, which works nicely with ifconfig eth0 $ip, but isn't nice with ifconfig eth0 up,since they all get the same IP. -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can keep imitating Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
