Ok thanks, but I must to know how it works inside UML, I need to know where
is the source to look up the mechanism. I need it cause I have to manipulate
it for connect a simple virtual device in the host to UML.
I don't know if I have made sense of well but the most important thing is
that i understand how simple device communicate with UML

That's pretty funny. I didn't get that, and perhaps I should have...
Also, there is actually a UML (this UML, not that modelling language thingy)
book in the works. It's being written by me and Steve Suehring (who decided
that this would be a good idea, put a proposal together, got a publisher
interested, and then asked me if I wanted to coauthor it). The ironic part
is that the first publisher to be interested was Manning.

I've just run into this problem. Turning on debugging symbols makes it
go away. Here's the diff between my broken and working configurations.
diff breaks/config works/config
< # CONFIG_DEBUGSYM is not set

UML is 2.4.26 patched with uml-patch-2.4.26-2.bz2
Host is 2.4.27-rc3 patched with host-skas3-2.4.25.patch
I hope this helps.

Guess this is not enough info... please forward us the report or at least send
us a link to the thread (but I tend not to read links except when I've
exceptionally much time in excess, i.e. never).
Inform me of my mistakes, so I can keep imitating Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
