We are finding that Debian's gcc 3.3.4-13 causes problems when building user mode linux. The iptables mechanism becomes corrupted, producing garbled output when tables are listed and crashing the guest when trying to add rules. The same tree and .config does not produce this problem with an earlier version of gcc. Is my experience common? If so, is there a specific recommended version of gcc for all UML builds? |
