Thanks, I've posted the output at http://www.bolding.org/darren/out.txt since its somewhat long, and I didn't want to blast the list with it. The command I am running is: strace ./linux-2.4.24-pre3-djc4-1um root=/dev/ubd/0 > & /tmp/out I've verified the behavior is the same with other uml kernels, whether downloaded or built. I switched to using a 2.6.4 kernel (skas3 patch) to see if that helped (it didn't). My next step is to move the host and guest kernels to another system and see if that affects anything. > > > I'd also love to find any docs on what the command-line arguments are, or > > is --help the most complete I am likely to find? > > On the main UML site, on the left bar choose "Kernel switches". > > Bye Thanks again for the help! --D > Paolo Giarrusso, aka Blaisorblade > Linux registered user n. 292729 Darren Bolding da...@bo... > |
