If it makes you feel any better, my Slackware9.0 box (fairly sure it's 9 anyway) w/ gcc3.2.2 and glibc2.3.1 gives the same error CC arch/um/kernel/um_arch.o arch/um/kernel/um_arch.c:51: storage size of `__kernel_vsyscall' isn't known make[1]: *** [arch/um/kernel/um_arch.o] Error 1 make: *** [arch/um/kernel] Error 2 both with my config, and also when i copied your config into my config file and retried it (after a make clean ARCH=um, make menuconfig ARCH=um, make linux ARCH=um) just to be sure :/ It's like it doesn't like being just plain void or something :( --attriel |
