I'm still having trouble creating a root file system. I am running Debian Woody and I want my UML to be the same. Here is what I did to create my root file system 1. dd if=/dev/zero of=root_fs bs=1024 seek=1048575 count=1 2. /sbin/mke2fs root_fs 3. mount root_fs /mnt/uml -o loop 4. debootstrap woody /mnt/uml file:/cdrom 5. umount /mnt/uml 6. linux The uml boots fine. The problem is that the file system is read only. Can someone tell me how to fix this? -- Damien Hull Network Administrator www.digitaloverload.net |
