Thanks for your testing, Takahiro 2007/7/17, Lun Jiang <wo...@gm...>: > Hi all, > I was installing usbip 0.1.4 on linux-2.6.19. > Everything was ok in the compilation. The only confusing part was I had to > link /path/to/usbip/src/lib/.libs/libusbip.so.0 to > /usr/lib/libusip.so.0 . If you installed usbip into a non-standard directory with --prefix=/a/b/c (e.g., other than /usr ), you need export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/prefix/path > When I bind a special usb device(a wireless mote) on server side: > ***Message: bind 3-1 to usbip, completed! > And I list on the client side: > ankur@uranus:~/Desktop/usbip-0.1.4/drivers/2.6.19$ usbip -l 169.236.151.32 > - 169.236.151.32 > 3-1: Future Technology Devices International, Ltd : 8-bit FIFO > (0403:6001) > : /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.2/usb3/3-1 > : (Defined at Interface level) (00/00/00) > : 0 - Vendor Specific Class / Vendor Specific Subclass / Vendor > Specific Protocol (ff/ff/ff) > So I thought it was good, and attached: > ankur@uranus:~/Desktop/usbip-0.1.4/drivers/2.6.19$ usbip -a 169.236.151.32 > 3-1 > request failed at peer, 1 > usbip err: vhci_attach.c: 374 (query_import_device) recv op_common > [Success] > usbip err: vhci_attach.c: 412 (attach_device) query [Success] > > I looked into the file and seems query_import_device is like a hand shaking > thing before the real binding for virtual usb port at client side, I wonder > what's wrong. > > And seems listing the current ports won't find it. > ankur@uranus:~/Desktop/usbip-0.1.4/drivers/2.6.19$ usbip -p > 8 ports available > > Port 00: <Port Available> > Port 01: <Port Available> > Port 02: <Port Available> > Port 03: <Port Available> > Port 04: <Port Available> > Port 05: <Port Available> > Port 06: <Port Available> > Port 07: <Port Available> > > > Any help will be greatly appreciated. > Lun > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express > Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take > control of your XML.
