I have been looking at the SICK sensor in the UT3 and UDK releases and have a question for you. In this code, it seems that the returns from the sensor are provided in counter-clockwise order (i.e. right-to-left). Is the case with the real sensor? It goes against our z-down right handed coordinate system, but if the real sensor does it this way then we should leave it be.
