Wondering if someone can help me out.
I am trying to burn a bootable img to a USB stick under Vista and I am running into problems.
I am using the following command
dd.exe of=\\.\PhysicalDrive2 if=image.img bs=8192
I know the bs is right, works on linux dd. I get back an error that says "dd.exe: \\.\PhysicalDrive2 Bad File Descriptor"
I've also tried the drive letter (\\.\f:) and I get the same error.
One time it appeared to lay down most the files, the error'd with the same message. The image wasn't bootable. It seems to work fine in XP, just having trouble with Vista.
I appreciate any help!
