Hi Guys, first of Iam using UltraDefrag now for several years and realy like
its functionalitys and the lightweight Gui-Design.
Usually i defrag my HDDs in the evening and feel the bright colors as a bit
disturbing, because it sometimes brightens up the whole room :D So I made a
proposal design with Photoshop and ask you (User/Dev's) what you think about
I would really love to see, if this dark color scheme would be (at least
optionally) inserted into the GUI.
Greetings from Germany,
Looks like sourceforge broke the Picture, so here is the direct link...
You could simply switch off your display (panel); the computer will function
just as well without it :-)
Yeah i know, but i like to watch the files gettin sorted :P
If you defragment regularly, it 's finished real quickly and all your computer
actions will be swift too as a result.
this is gettin a little bit off-topic, i just wanted to know how others like
btw i'am a videoproducer and often have to defrag large
videoarchives...they're gettin fragmented realy strong because of
editing/rendering/digitalising large and smal video- and audiofiles...so there
is sometimes no way doing this "real quickly"...on 80% filled 2TB HDDs ;)
UD is currently respecting the users color choices.
What we could do is to allow the user to select the free space color, since he
can already change the color of the grid lines.
May be just use the opposite color of the grid lines for free space.
I have not tested how UD behaves with a dark theme selected.
Seems you are running Win7, so it should be easy to test.
Yeah that would be realy nice.
Thanks a lot!
Btw² if you Guys need some help in translating UD to German,....if you look at
my Picture (taken with the german version) you will Notice that the only thing
not translatet is the "42 moves total" line... the best way to translate
"moves total" into german is "bewegte Dateien" ... this translated back means
"moved files" because the is no good/better way translating this...trust me ;)
the status messages during drive processing are currently excluded from
I would translate it to "Bewegungen gesamt", since these are not only files,
Greetings from Austria,
I have just checked with the black high contrast theme of Win7, so the drives
list and the cluster map stay white.
Cluster map should be possible to change, need to investigate on the drives
list, since I don't remember that it is customized in any way.
