I need to create a U3D file containing node-based animation (as opposed to bone-based with weights and a skeleton). My scene graph contains several IFXModel nodes, each referencing a IFXAuthorCLODMesh resource and with their own parents and transformations.
The IDTFConverter sample only shows how to do keyframed animation using bones. Is there any sample code or could someone kindly give me some guidance on animating the actual IFXModel node's transformations relative to their parent nodes and transforms?
Is it possible to do keyframe animation of the camera view for fly throughs?
I already create static U3D files and embed them into PDFs and ultimately all I need to do is to be able to add animation to these.
