Monsters in the dungeon should have different factions.
Goblins would be just as much food to monsters as the
player, for example.
It could also be interesting to generate areas/levels
with different "tribes" of monsters. Say, the Redfist
Tribe of goblins and the Blacknail Tribe, who are at

When the quest system is ready, the idea could of
course be expanded even further. ;-)
A slightly more indepth faction system for monsters
could also be useful in other ways. For example,
townies attack relatively harmless things like flies in
big droves - townies should run, guards should fight,
and fly swarms probably shouldn't be bothering people
Factions would have several possible relationships -
hate (kill on sight), protect (attack attackers of),
indifferen (ignore), fear (run away from).
