SourceForge announced in a recent mailing that
outbound e-mail will be restricted in the near
future. This will impose a problem at TWiki.org
because TWiki depends on sending out automated
email by shell server cron job and cgi scripts
on web server.
I logged a support request to get an exemption
from this restriction. In case we don't get this
we need to move to a different server. So this
old story is coming up again...
Let me know in case someone knows a *reliable*
web hosting server preferably in the US or Canada
where we could host our open source TWiki project
for free. We need about 200 MB disk space, shell
login via telnet or SSH, and if possible a CVS
server and a web based mailing list manager.
