just to let you know that mailnotify is not working
since three days. A support request has been filed,
[ 109557 ] sendmail called by cronjob not working
Please check TWiki.Codev once in a while until this
Also, RCS does sometimes not work. Topics get always
saved correctly, but the repository file sometimes
does not get updated, depending on the web server
being used on load balancing. A support request has
been filed also, [ 109556 ] RCS does sometimes not run
Until this is fixed you need to double check if the
user and timestamp at the bottom of the topic is
correctly set after saving a topic. If not, you can
save the same topic again after 15 minutes or so
(bigger change to hit a different web server)
I am ready to move away from SourceForge, they are
just not reliable enough and cause too much trouble
taking time away from more important things. Since
spring I had 30 support requests, 20 of those are
beyond our control, caused by problems on SourceForge
side. I can't really complain since they offer so
many great tools for open source groups, and it's
all free. Nevertheless, if anyone knows a reliable
free hosting service in the US let me know!
I exchanged some emails with Patrick McGovern, the
manager of Sourceforge.net. He told me that

Well let's see if they get more reliable.

Not in the US, but sunsite.auc.dk is pretty well organised.
Dont think you can point a domain at a sunsite project site though. It
might have changed, its been a while since I was involved in a project
