Hi there, here's my first patch to display local data (title/subtitle/description) if the xmltv file provides it. At the moment there's no comfortable way to set the language code, you have to manually edit your tvtime.xml file: <option name="XMLTVLanguage" value="de"/> Possible solutions: - Add a parameter to tvtime-configure to set the language code and mention this setting at http://tvtime.sourceforge.net/xmltv.html. - Parse the xmltv file for language codes and let the user choose graphically. Problem: The setting might be lost if there's temporarilly no valid xmltv file. - Use getlocale to determine the user's LC_MESSAGES setting and manually resolve aliases (/usr/share/locale/locale.alias). Not even remotely portable. :-( - Very simple: Ignore the lang attribute's value and simply prefer the localized title over the generic one, if both exist. Could actually work in most situations.
