#75 quickstart graphics aren't easy to modify

The quickstart project template is a nice starting point for a project, but if you change the size of the header (132 pixels high is a lot) or change the background color the design breaks. However, if the edges of headerbg.png, menubg.png, and contentbg.png were transparent instead of using gray gradients, they would be a lot easier to reuse. Without having access to the layered originals it's hard to do modifications, and most of us probably just want to slap on a new logo and switch to the company color scheme.

We should try to have this fixed in TG 2.1. I'll ask faide who worked on the new design.

I'll ask Jon if he can help us here, if he cannot then I should be able to find the original svg from inkscape.
