When starting an RDP session in fullscreen mode, the screen takes over, not providing any obvious means of minimizing the application again.
I recommend adding a dialog the first time a user starts a fullscreen session, informing them that they can press crtl+alt+enter to leave fullscreen mode, along with an option to disable future notifications.
This would greatly reduce the confusion of new users.

    I second this request.

Thanks to the poster for sharing the hot-key.

To me, the better approach would be to implement issue ID: 2784261
    https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2784261&group_id=192483&atid=941577
and have the bar that "toaster slides" down from the top of the screen with the server name, minimise button and arrows to move through RDP connections. Then, the "Alt+Ctrl+Enter" hotkey could be shown in a tooltip when the user hovers over the minimise button in this toaster drop-down.
