I'm finally reporting a behavior I have seen for years. The Medium AI constantly
sends transports laden with units, that are completely unprotected by escort ships
and thus sitting ducks for air strikes. Most commonly this happens for the US
player. Please fix...

    On that same topic and with the same, Medium AI - the placement logic used for transports could be enhanced as well. For example:

    Japan (Medium AI) had a powerful Japanese fleet in SZ 73 (East China Sea) next to their main Island. However when it placed the transports, it put them in SZ 74 (Sea of Japan) unescorted. There were enemy fighters in Chosen that removed them from the map the very next turn.

    Granted he was able to put a few more in that SZ 74 as it shares the factory production with Northern Japan (vs only Southern Japan in SZ 73) but didn't make any sense. Basically threw away 6 transports for no reason.

    unfortunately we are not working on the medium ai anymore, but some work is being done on a new ai
