Thanks for pointing all this out. I committed the original map files and
our two level files.

Looks great, thanks. Also, I had no idea that we could do this:

I should go on and clean up all the 'Old Macdonald' variations.

That's a good idea. We can structure it like:

├── colormap.jpg
├── farm-bis.level
├── farm-quinquies.level
├── farm-sex.level
├── foliagemap.png
└── heightmap.png

I have that layout now, to test if it works (it does). Should I commit it?

Well, I was trying to use Roman numerals, indeed, but I botched it. I thought it was:
bis, ter, quater, quinquies, sex
2 times, .., 6 times

but it's actually
bis, ter, quater, quinquies, sexies

(There is a small error in the list [1], but I found source [2] which seems cleaner.)

So I should clean this up, too. There is no compelling reason: I was once very amused to find out that a friend in France was living on
28 quater Rue Salenques

So it wasn't 28, nor 28 bis, not even the strange 28 ter, but it was 28 quater. Hence I figured, why not use the same scheme for Trigger maps. The original map keeps its original name, but all additional variations are indexed using Latin numerals.
