Xen virtualizes the TPM for the guests (both paravirtualized as well as full/native).

Subject: [tpmdd-devel] Using tpm device from virtual machine

Hi,

I want to experiment with TPM and integrate it with my kernel module application. For that I want to use any virtual machine instead of my actual host, so as to not fiddle with my host machine.

Does anyone know of a virtual machine that supports TPM device in the guest machine too? I tried with VirtualBox, but the /dev/tpm0 device is not created.

Machine details:
IBM Thinkpad T60p
OS: Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron)

Thank you,
Sateesh
