I've fixed so that it doesn't crash, but gives a error in the dialog or statusbar.

Note, that running 1.1.4 or 1.1.5 on my machine WITHOUT the Oracle library
paths or ORACLE_HOME defined crashes upon startup (same error as below
when compiled with KDE). I haven't researched it too much, so it might be
something else weird in my environment, but removing the tooracle*.tso
from the plugins directory works from me.

Of course, the real fix (for me) was just to setup the Oracle stuff.

First of all remove all your contents in your /usr/local/lib/tora
library. Then do a make clean between configure and make. Should
hopefully solve your problem.

I am trying to compile Tora (latest 1.1.5) on an SuSE 7.3 machine.

If I compile with the kde options, tora crashes on startup with the following:

KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = tora path = <unknown> pid = 10522

If I compile without kde, I get the following while linking

Linking tora
objs/tobackground.o: In function `toBackground::init(void)':
/usr/local/src/tora/tora-1.1.5/tobackground.cpp:269: undefined reference to
`KMainWindow::statusBar(void)'
/usr/local/src/tora/tora-1.1.5/tobackground.cpp:272: undefined reference to
`KMainWindow::statusBar(void)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [tora] Error 1

Thanks,

Ron
