In my system, PLAN_TABLE is a public synonym for the (writable) table SYS.PLAN_TABLE:
CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM plan_table FOR sys.plan_table$;
Apparently, TOra checks for existence of PLAN_TABLE in my schema before attempting to run it and asks whether to create it, which is not an option for me. If I set it to"PUBLIC.PLAN_TABLE", it prepends my schema name and fails like this:
EXPLAIN PLAN SET STATEMENT_ID = 'TOra 1279766566' INTO MYSCHEMA.<ERROR>PUBLIC.PLAN_TABLE FOR ...
Apparently the simplest solution would be to use the config value without prepending anything. Otherwise, it could parse the value as [schema].table[@dblink] and complete it.
