No

I've installed OpenLDAP on windows following the installation guide, with LDAP as the database.

With the line
"directory ./tolvendata" (the directory has been created at that location)

in the file I get the following error when I run c:\openLDAP> slapadd -f slapd.conf -l tolveninitial.ldif (an empty tolveninitial.ldif file exists at this location)
"Unknown directive <directory> inside backend database definition. Bad Configuration file!

In the OpenLDAP documentation I see that "directory" is a valid directive for the BDB database. No explicit mention is made regarding use of that directive with the LDAP database.

Do you have a sample slad.conf file that shows the lines to be included in context?
