I've downloaded from sourceforge "TLS 1.4" for Solaris
2.6.
I'd like to use it to send an https (POST) through a
proxy and so I wrote
http::config -proxyhost x.x.x.x - proxyport yyy
http::register https 443 ::tls::socket

When for example I use https://www.site.com I obtain
an error like this : sock6 error connection aborted
Instead, if I use a simple HTTP there is no problem
I think there is a problem in establishment of
connection (socket) with proxy server.

    Sorry for not noticing this earlier - the project wasn't
    set up to notify me of new submissions.

    There is a conceptual hard problem with HTTPS through a
    proxy, because you are negating security in some way. I'm
    not sure that this has been satisfactorily solved, but a
    google search on https proxies and the security
    implications might help.
