No

I'm trying to use tkdiff 4.0.2 on a Windows XP box, and
I'm getting this error when I try to compare files:

diff failed
couldn't execute "diff": no such file or directory

I've using ActiveTCL 8.4.9.1, and have my path set up
for C:\Tcl\bin and C:\tkdiff_4_0_2\tkdiff-win.

I've set my folder options to open TCL files with
C:\Tcl\bin\wish84.exe.

I can't find any "diff" program. Do I need to download
and install that separately?

Thanks.

I have the same problem. It seems to be a common problem
for this program. I tried to run the older version, but there was
    the same error.

Yes, you need to install a diff.exe program.

If not, tkdiff will not work properly.

You can find it in any "unix set of tool for windows", for
    example: http://sourceforge.net/projects/unxutils

Yup, you need to download and install a "diff" executable
    separately.

There's a Windows installer for tkdiff -- an /old/ version
of tkdiff -- that includes a diff executable. You can grab
    the installer from:

    http://texttest.carmen.se/TextTest/docs/tkdiffInstall.zip

Once you install it, grab the diff.exe that's in it, and use
it with a newer tkdiff obtained from sourceforge.net. I
just tried it, and it works nicely.
